Hot Rolling Steel Plate Surface Finishing Introduction

In surface finishing, imperfection and defect are 2 major problems which often occur on the steel plate products. But any of these problems on the edges of steel plate are not covered. For hot rolled steel plate product, the surface finish work need to be done before the delivery by the manufacturer, in other words surface finish procedure is the last step for steel plate producing, inspection is the final insurance for hot rolling steel plate quality. After the inspection, discontinuities and cracks are fixed by rolling and heat treatment, it is good to be delivered to the customer. If the defection is un-repairable, then the hot rolling steel plate shall be rejected in delivery.
Defects like cracks, shells and sharp edged seams are always considered which would affect end use, no matter what the size and number of the steel plate is, rejection or repair is required to ensure the product quality.
