Using ordinary TMCP process, air cooling process of steel plate is taken instantly after rolling, and HOP technology is in rapid cooling after using induction heating for rapid heating. Therefore, phase change can be under control and at the same time make carbide refining precipitation, organizations become homogeneous or heterogeneous organization, this way to gain steel characteristics that can’t be achieved using only ordinary fast cooling.
HOP production application of the typical steel pipe products covers high strength and acid gas pipeline tube, high deformability pipeline tube, casing/well high strength steel tube, etc. With the thickness direction and steel plate uniform internal material, small and good shape steel material deviation can be achieved.
